First Responder Authentication Credential (FRAC)
Emergency responders are first on the scene of any natural disaster or terrorist situation.
The initial instincts of a first responder are to gain control and provide relief in a situation but, before that can happen, first responders need to assess the situation.
FRAC, a smart card identity initiative, is intended to provide a first responder with quick and easy access to incidents at federal, state, and local facilities across the United States.
While FRAC continues to be defined, Software House will monitor the progress of this initiative and post the latest resources in our Government Resource Center.
