Codebench PIVCheck®

Validate.

PIVCheck® Desktop and Mobile Editions provide a solid, three-step authentication process that is ideal for government applications. The software extracts cardholder data from a smart card, validates the cardholder's PIN, and completes on-card biometrics matching. Digital certificates are verified by security personnel using the issuer's certificate authority, SCVP, OCSP responder/repeater, or the TSA hot list (TWIC cardholders). All cards are validated using FIPS-201 challenge-response protocol in order to identify forged or cloned cards.

PIVCheck Mobile Edition offers identical functionality as the PIVCheck Desktop Edition while using the Datastrip DSV2+ Turbo biometric mobile terminal with Ethernet and WiFi connectivity to validate cardholder identity from a variety of off-site locations.

.

Enroll.

Once the validation of a cardholder is complete, PIVCheck Plus Desktop Edition automatically enrolls the FASC-N, photo, and pertinent cardholder information into C•CURE 9000 and C•CURE 800/8000 systems using the PIVCheck PACS plug-in. The PACS plug-in creates a data import file in the C•CURE system to ensure updated PIV-II credentials work seamlessly with the security system. The cardholder's badge is suspended if the serial number is listed as unreliable, invalid, or appears on the Certificate Revocation List.

Similarly, once the three-factor authentication process is complete at a designated remote site, the PIVCheck Plus Mobile Edition automatically registers the information into the C•CURE system directly from the Datastrip DSV2+ handheld reader using network connectivity.
