Software House Multi-Technology Readers provide the industry's first multi-protocol, multi-frequency solution for customers who either want to transition to smart cards over time or who want to utilize both smart cards and proximity cards in their facility. Multi-Technology Readers also support the U.S. Government's PIV II cards, with output options up to 232 bits, and are listed on the GSA's FIPS 201 Approved Products List.
More powerful access control
The Multi-Technology Readers make access control more powerful, more versatile, and more cost-effective by allowing customers to implement a smart card solution in stages. While a customer is transitioning to smart cards, the Multi-Technology Readers will read both the existing universe of HID® proximity cards and multiple 13.56 MHz smart cards.
New Version with Indala support (SWH-4130)
The Software House Multi-Technology Reader with Indala Support reads both HID and Indala® proximity cards simultaneously, while also reading multiple 13.56 MHz smart card technologies – including MIFARE® encrypted sectors – all with one reader. This powerful reader enables you to mix HID and Indala proximity cards without needing two separate readers, while also allowing a smooth, cost-effective transition to smart cards over time. These readers are only available in single-gang only.
