Software House^® iSTAR Pro Rack Mount is the first standalone, rack-mountable access controller that houses all the necessary components to control up to 16 doors. This device uniquely manages power and wiring for access control systems by providing lock power and fire interlocking all within the enclosure. Combined with removable wire connectors that enable quick installation, iSTAR Pro Rack Mount reduces the space requirements and costs associated with installing a panel on the wall making it most desirable for IT professionals.

Everything you need in one enclosure

Software House iSTAR Pro Rack Mount includes 24V/1A fused power per lock so no external power supply is needed. Each output can be interlocked to a fire alarm signal for life safety operation. And its patent-pending design enables efficient wiring using "quick connects" eliminating the need to open the enclosure which can dramatically reduce service issues.

Designed for efficient servicing and diagnostics

Front panel LCD and LEDs help administrators review diagnostics and troubleshoot issues such as power, fire, and fan failure quickly, reducing any potential downtime. With external diagnostics and status lights, administrators and IT staff can view and handle system duress easily without having to open the enclosure. These security features significantly reduce the risk of system downtime and, with remote web diagnostics, you can find and fix performance issues remotely from anywhere in your facility.

Each unit has front and rear tamper switches to ensure that the controller is not accessed by unauthorized personnel.
