iSTAR Pro supports up to 16 readers
iSTAR Pro is an intelligent, modular controller that offers a cost-effective access control solution for up to 16 doors. It features on-board Ethernet, optional dial-up modem communications, full DHCP and WINS support, and up to 128 MB memory - enough to store over 1,000,000 cardholders.
The rack-mountable version of iSTAR Pro comes in two sleek designs. The 4U model is complete with embedded lock power which lowers your overall installation costs while the 2U model uses an external 2U lock power supply that requires minimal wiring and less space.
iSTAR eX supports up to eight readers
iSTAR eX is a four- or eight-door Ethernet-ready controller that provides strong FIPS 197-validated 256-bit encryption. iSTAR eX is also listed for FIPS 140-2, the US government's most rigorous standard for cryptographic products. These controllers are ideal for government applications or for any enterprise looking for the highest security available in the industry today. For large corporations with smaller facilities around the globe, iSTAR eX works with the scalable C•CURE® 800/8000 and C•CURE 9000 systems and other Software House controllers to provide the most demanding customers with a solution they can use across their entire corporation.
Initially available with four door support, iSTAR eX is easily field upgradable to support eight readers. The additional RM readers (readers 5 - 8) can be activated by inserting a security key into a USB port located on the panel.
